MOSAiC collects key data for CIMR Science

By TomLav | March 30, 2020 - 11:59

Satellite observation is the only way to effectively monitor the Arctic sea ice on a broad scale, but gaps in our knowledge still hamper our ability to accurately retrieve some key sea ice and snow parameters. Unparalleled control measurements gathered during MOSAiC expedition will now help to overcome some of these weaknesses, and allow better algorithms to be developed for existing and future satellite missions such as CIMR. This website is a focal point for scientific community support to the CIMR mission. It is run by MET Norway, with input from the CIMR Expert Team.
